Program Interns

Refugee Wellness would not exist without the hard work of MSW students who join our team every year. Since the project’s inception in 2013, UNC Refugee Wellness has trained MSW students in providing culturally responsive mental health services to immigrant survivors of torture and trauma through a year-long field placement internship through UNC School of Social Work, with additional students joining the project as research assistants and UNC-affiliated undergraduate interns.
